VisAbility Radio Host Kenneth Phua sits down with Dean Blanchard, Founder and Director of Music Rocks Australia to hear his story and the social and personal opportunity music provides to young people. Music Rocks Australia allows people of all abilities to engage and enjoy music, as well as develop their talent. While the 2017 Abilities Expo is under way, VisAbility Radio Host Kenneth Phua managed to catch up with Jacqui Jones, Workplace Transition Coordinator from Warnbro CHS Education Support Centre. Jacqui assists middle school and high school students living with intellectual disabilities. The Middle school (Year 7,8,9) program assists the students in integrating with a whole range of mainstream classes, and the high school (Year 10,11,12 and 13) program focuses on getting them work-ready, acquiring skills to leave school and join the workforce.
